It’s almost time for Halloween again. To get you in the mood, both for the day and cocktails (because everything is about the majesty of cocktails in one way or another) we’ve had some thoughts about what would be some horror movie characters Poison cocktail of choice.

Note: our understanding of ‘horror’ movie is weak at best, as you’re about to find out.

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man

Look, we know that Ghostbusters isn’t a horror movie. But the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man definitely gave me nightmares as a child so he makes the cut. And the perfect drink for an iconic 80s movie villain is an iconic 80s cocktail: the Woo Woo. Sweet enough to feel like you’re eating an actual marshmallow too.

Pennywise

Pennywise will ruin your day in much the same way that this next cocktail will ruin any chance at sobriety: the Long Island Ice Tea. Unlike Pennywise, our long island won’t drag you into a sewer and kill you. Only good times await here.

Hannibal Lecter

Hannibal Lecter is a very bad man. We know this. He is however, also classy and we can’t help but appreciate that. One of the classiest cocktails we can think of is the martini, and the French Martini is doubly classy.*

Jack Torrance

Jack Frost. Obviously. We don’t think this one even needs explaining.

Freddy Krueger

The Strawberry Daiquiri will keep you up dancing all night, which will just so happen to keep you from Freddy Krueger’s clutches. We’re providing a lifesaving service, really.
